Rev. Dr. Nancy Ash, DD, PhD is a modern mystic, spiritual teacher, and new paradigm pioneering professor who has been at the forefront of consciousness evolution since the 1970s. As a passionate thought leader, author, and former media personality, she champions peace and spiritual awakening globally.
Since 2014, Dr. Ash has served as Co-founding Chancellor of the NewEarth University, an innovative zero-point educational institution that’s part of the global NewEarth movement and Humanitad.org foundation. She previously led New Earth Theological University as its president and dean of the School of Interspiritual Studies, working and teaching to transform traditional academic paradigms with new pedagogical approaches.

Nancy’s educational journey began at the School of Visual Arts in New York (1974-77) while working as a CBS graphic designer, studying under renowned artists including Louise Bourgeois. She earned a BA in creative-expressive therapies from the University of Maryland (1979), later completing a PhD in religious studies focused on Interspiritual Literature, with her dissertation exploring “Postmodern Oneness” and the sacred feminine. She also holds a Doctor of Divinity in Metaphysics and Spirituality with a dissertation inspired by an early mentor, mythologist Joseph Campbell.

Ordained in 1985, Rev. Dr. Ash has taught and ordained students as a senior minister at the vanguard of global interspiritual dialogue. She’s also been a longtime practitioner of Dzogchen learning from Tibetan master Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche; Nancy is recognized as a vajra yogini sharing a unique 360-Awakening Process she developed from decades of sacred practices.

Dr. Ash served as an Inaugural Trustee for the International Tribunal for Natural Justice, advocating for human rights restoration. She’s authored “Garland of Grace” and “Doing a 360,” with a third book in progress. Living in New Mexico’s mountains with her husband of 40+ years, she finds inspiration in nature while continuing her life mission of spiritual service through her ministry of Soul Sovereignty.
